Halak set the bar pretty low for what would've been seen as a better performance on the night, yet I think Rask was actually worse.
The defense was brutal, the officiating crew was trash (for both sides), and other than DeBrusk and maybe Krejci I thought everyone else sucked.
Backes shouldn't be playing in the NHL anymore either.

For the first time in a while the goalies were terrible and the team defense was worse. The two point deflections were just bad luck, nothing you can do about those. Both Horvat goals were on the goalies and goalies alone. The rest you can blame the team D. I think the top line needs a “come to Jesus” type of moment where they go back to playing the game that got them to where they are. You know, defense, no turnovers.

Halak and Rask tried but I give biggest letdown to Backes... several turnovers, 2 steps behind Bjork, 0 points (this season).

Poor Krug, he was really fighting up hill there, never got going. I'm just glad he didn't get his face smashed in or break his hand.
Am I the only one that feels that at least half of the goals against were from unstoppable tips, and this was just "one of those nights" ?

They scored 5 goals. Would have guessed before the game 5 goals would be enough to beat Vancouver. Really bad game by the D (skaters and D-men included). Didn't pay close attention to the matchups each shift, but man did Vancouver ever make the Bs look silly in their own zone much of the game. Strange as hell because the Bs team D has been stellar most every game so far. Hate to lose out on 2 points at home to Vancouver. No disrespect to Vancouver since they have a good team this season, but the Bs should not be giving up a lot of goals to them.
