regardless of win or loss, the best news is that this has been Caufield's best game in the AHL this season, so a step in the right direction hopefully.

Laval got going a little too late today. If they were even a little better at the start, they wouldn't have lost it. Can't fully fault them for their rough start. Not easy to get going in a second game in less that 24 hours. Especially when it was a hotly contested game the night before that went to OT. But they could have had a better start regardless.

What sucks for Primeau is he made an amazing save on the first shot. But the puck went back to the Comets player. Primeau was great tonight despite the loss.

And the good news is that Caufield scored. Hoping this opens the gate for him.

And Ylonen with a 4-point weekend. He now has 10 pts (4G, 6A) in 11 GP.
