Leafs have 4 days off, and the Canucks play a back to back today and tomorrow. 3 games in 4 days.
They should be tired, and leafs should be raring to go.

Against the big, bad Habs no less.

I mean it'll probably wear them out more than going up against Edmonton or something. I wouldn't mind Vancouver winning both games, and then we just take all three from them ;)

There is no reason at all that they shouldn't be able to dominate or even just simply beat the Canucks, at least in the first game cause the Canucks will be coming off a B2B against the Habs and 13 games in 22 days. With the Leafs well rested, this should be a no-brainer but since the Pat Quinn days as coach, no Leaf team has given me confidence yet for what should be an easy win.

Canucks will have played 5 games in 8 days with west to east travel in the mix. It will be their 6th game in 9 days on Thursday.

Hoping they have some tired legs and the Leafs have some energy to pounce on them.

Toronto Maple Leafs need to be fresh as a daisy and beat the wheels off of the Vancouver Canucks. No more of these close games, no running into a hot goalie, or a team with a chip on their shoulder. This one has to be a drubbing per Auston Matthews' comments about having barely scratched the surface of what they are capable of. Scratch the damn surface already.

Shots against/60 so far this year in the division:

1. Toronto: 27.51
2. Montreal: 27.57
3. Calgary: 28.62
4. Winnipeg: 31.28
5. Ottawa: 31.42
6. Edmonton: 33.15
7. Vancouver: 36.00

I like this matchup for us.

Alright this should be a 4-1 or 5-1 blowout where the game is decided by the end of the second

Read something Zetterberg said about traveling. It takes its toll on players. More then they want to admit. He thought they might have lost a Stanley because of the traveling bit. That ontop of a lot of games in a short span. Leafs should win easy.

February games might feel like mini-playoff series when they go against VAN, OTT, and MTL.

Feb 4 vs VAN
Feb 6 vs VAN
Feb 8 vs VAN
Feb 10 vs MTL
Feb 13 vs MTL
Feb 15 vs OTT
Feb 17 vs OTT
Feb 18 vs OTT
Feb 20 vs MTL

Petan called up and on the 4th line. Kerfoot absent and looks lke Engvall took his place. Simmonds has earned a shot in the top 6, but it should be on a short leash. Dermott back with Bogosian.
