Just face facts guys. A team where the best player is a defensman wont go very far.
What supporting cast does Karlsson have? Ryan? Turris? Michalek? It's just embarassing really, that some of you give him **** for not scoring a hat-trick every other game. He's an offensive defensman, but without proper defensive defensmen, he can't utilize his skill set. Without proper threats up ice, the forwards will have an easy job getting in Karlsson's face.

Spezza leaving hurt your team more than you realize.

Spezza getting injured is what hurts.

Sometimes, things go against you no matter what you do. Tonight is not the Senators' night. Bad Bounces, seeing eye shots that go in the net. No lucky bounces for the Senators tonight.

Why are people arguing ab out Spezza when our record is outstanding without him in the lineup? The defense is lacking on this team much more than the offense. Granted we could use another skilled forward...while the young guns are still coming up

Having both a healthy Spezza and a healthy Karlsson makes us a much better team. It's just about insulating them both with players that can cover for them defensively. Meh. It's going to be a long few seasons. Might be easier on everyone to just look for the positives we see on the ice.

I'd agree except it's also about the Bruins playing a great game.

Well we were playing pretty well up until the second goal, after that the team looked deflated outside of the kid line
