Virtanen is in because he played Green's trap system last year that is also why he had such horrid scoring stats, the trap reduces all the player's stats except for the PP guys. that is why Subban had so many PP points ditto with Archibald.

Green is nothing but another caretaker coach except he knows the trap, rookies don't do well in a trap.

The Nucks will be lucky to get 15 shots this game and lucky if they score a goal at all.

Someone put up size stats, man were they ever wrong, they counted our two 6'6" goaltenders and a couple of players not even playing.

This is going to be a, take them behind the barn and give them whooping, Edmonton is going to open a can of kickass.

Who cares, they aren't drinking just gambling. It's not like they have an afternoon game the next day. Let them have some fun. They both excelled in the preseason, and if it translates into the regular season I have no problem what they do at night.

Agreed that Boeser wasn't any worse than Vanek...The only deficiency I saw in Boeser the last couple of games,were his speed,there wasn't a whole lot in his first few strides..but then again why would you take a natural goalscorer out of the lineup? (on a team that can't score).

Because the last thing the team wants is to have Boeser compared to some of the young players on the other team.
As long as fans think Boeser is really really good then they will buy tickets and that is what management's job is, selling tickets and they are running out of thing's to sell.
