The 1st post in the thread says June 1st, but who the hell knows at this point? It's better for this game to end swiftly in my opinion.

Gabby posted a few days ago that he was setting Sunday night as the deadline. But yes, due to some poor GMs who take teams and then either don't have the time, or just don't care stop participating, the game has decreased in activity big time. Also, GMs who respond to one PM a day can just go ahead and stop playing as well.

Couldn't agree more. You work a full time job and are still one of the most active people in this game.

Sad to lose Talbot, but clearly he was more coveted by the all French-Canadian franchise. We also part with Quebec born goaltending prospect, Francois Brassard. In return, we are happy to add a very good prospect into our system in Quinton Howden. Roman Polak is a terrific defensive defender who plays a simple, physical, steady game and will help keep the crease of Craig Anderson a little cleaner. Scott Clemmensen is a steady back up goalie who will help solidify us in net.

With our glut of defenders after this deal, we are shopping all of Toni Lydman, Deryk Engelland, Peter Harrold and possibly even newly acquired Roman Polak. Looking to add prospects in return. Lydman or Polak would require a noteworthy prospect. I'd also listen to offers to improve upon Matt Kassian at my #4 LW position. PM me if interested.
