On their pressure based PK, that is the play he is responsible for. Hartman lost his man.

Net front was where Spurgeon was supposed to be. Cole was up against the halfwall, not in a spot where they can make a switch.

Still responsible for going, doesn’t matter where the partner is. All PKs are taught to challenge players who are not in a position to handle the puck cleanly.

No, it's a bad play. 4 white sweaters on one side of the ice is a bad PK at any level.

Maybe true, but he still has to be aware of the most dangerous place on the ice.

The weak side wing is responsible to sag into the slot.

Guess that’s why the Wild have had one of the top ones and the Sharks are the best currently then huh?

The Sharks play the wheel and the Wild play a box/zone. They are completely different.

The Wild's PK is good because of the structure that keeps everything to the outside. The structure broke down and the GA happened.

At least recognize why the puck is kept to the outside. The Wild’s PP is good because they pressure the carrier who doesn’t have the puck clean or have high percentage options and it keeps the puck to the exterior.

They don't pressure hard. They let them cycle around and try to cut off passing lanes.
