Not sure why anyone thinks that? I love Protas but he's going to top out at 50-60.

I was blasted by a certain someone for saying that I don’t think his ceiling is as high as I originally thought/hoped. This person said he will be a PPG player. I will be thrilled if he tops at 50-60, I’m not even convinced of that. He shows flashes but I’m also seeing him $&@@ his pants with the puck enough when pressured.

I hope this new deal doesn’t hurt us.

It's 3.3 million dollars, not 10. Relax. It's such a marginal hit on the cap even if he tanks and can't be anything more than what he is now it's not going to "hurt us".
