This team is reminding me of the team just before we got Dubnyk. When you have a goalie who makes stops he's not supposed to, it gives your team fight. When you have a goalie who can't stop shots he should, it's deflating.

Would've been nice if Hunt or Staal could've converted.

Typically if a team can’t put together a few good games in a row, it’s a sign it’s not a very good team

That's about as wrong as it gets. You can't evaluate anything when you have terrible goaltending. Everything changes when a team/player knows they can't trust their goalie to do anything.

People have been asking that of Brodin for nearly a decade. It's just not something that comes naturally to him. He just doesn't think the game that way.
