I'd prefer a cheap contract for Semin for a year. And then if there's room, wait out for Sharp to get the lowest possible price.

Oh I don't want Franson at all, I was just listing some top names still available.

If we can get Semin on a 1 yr, $2.5m deal, I'm all over that. I suspect AK would be even cheaper.

On the trade front, I legitimately believe Bergevin is waiting for the price to drop on Sharp at this point. It's just a very Bergevin thing to do. Hopefully he adds at least one top-6 winger; I need to get some hope back for next season.

I can get on board with that. CBJ needs defenseman, and we have plenty.

I would be incredibly surprised if Bergevin signs Semin. He said he wasn't interested in his rookie year when Semin was on the open market, I doubt he would be now.

Honestly for me at this point it's anyone but Weise, Kassian or DSP (or Holloway).

I would like a guy able to do at the very least 40 points.
