I would entertain Killorn on a 1 or 2-year deal though. Right in time to get Luke, Schmid, Mercer etc. signed. But not at long term deal.

I'd much much much rather have Wheeler. He's sucks but he's likely not going to be a problem contract and will be a cheap short deal. Killorn's getting a Palat-esque contract.

Eh... Killorn has no injury history and is a quality player. 33 isn't ancient.

For the right contract length I would take him for sure.

It’s older than Toffoli, I’d rather just keep him on a long term deal if Fitz is gonna be throwing around money like Jack Nicholson in the original Batman

Needless to say we clearly are looking at another "winger" as Fitzy said that one interview.

Expect it to be a cheaper, vet who can play the PK but what do I know

Boqvist and McLoed (possibly) both leaving would hurt a lot for C depth. Wasn't Fitz saying they thought Foote could play center or did I imagine that? Right now it's Haula and Lazar in the bottom 6 with no room for injury right?

That's true. I forgot about Toffoli.

Just saying it wouldn't be the worst signing ever.

Just learned Reaves is a 35+ contract so it can't be buried even if they waive him. What a ridiculous contract.

He's not there to play so it doesn't matter. I mean, it is awful, but he's there to open and close the bench door.
I’m sure I’m being too literal, but it seems like that tweet indicated he wouldn’t return simply because he wasn’t qualified. Which we know isn’t the case with Bastian, at least.

Not that I’m surprised, but I’ll miss Boqvist. I liked him quite a bit.

Correct, when has anyone seen Mike Kelly break news about anyone? Never, but today, who cares about the source, it's just true if it's out there.

Nico Jack Haula Mercer Lazar and Foote played a lot of center in the AHL last last season.
Mercer isn't a great center. Lazar is a depth guy and I'd rather him not be the first replacement center in if there is injury

I don't think Foote is an NHL center.

Its basically Hischier, Hughes and Haula.
