I don't like the Forbort signing, but age and term matters a lot in this comparison.
I am including every aspect of both players in my ">" calculation

Oh, so you want the Forbort that doesn't existForbort of course. Forbort at 1-2 years, around $1.5 - 2 million.
Yea for sure.I do not like all his moves .The same goes if he signs somebody you don’t agree with
maybe Forbort didn't want to stay in Winnipeg (who would?)Forbort isn't good and a team that needed defense, Winnipeg, decided they'd rather trade for Schmidt and Dillon than re-sign Forbort. That says a lot to me.
Too many #5,6 D on this team. Not looking good: again.
GOOD.Bruins got outbid for Coleman last minute. TSN guys were surprised it was Calgary and not Boston. Duthie said Calgary made a late push and added an extra year. Bruins dodged a mistake.
No, he didn’t. He said there would be some not insignificant moves.
He's never been solid in his career. I know people hate advanced stats (not you), but his are truly truly truly atrocious.
Saying he's good in the defensive zone is like saying Charles Manson is good at making an impression.
The analysts and insiders call every deal a good one on Free Agency day. Hype, hype, hype for ratings.
lol good luck with that.Grzelcyk + Debrusk + other stuff for Lindholm + Rakell
There isn't one single stat that suggest Forbort is anything but a disaster. Not one. And the people who have watched him play are laughing at this deal and thrilled to see him go.
But sure, he'll be great here.

is what it is at this point. I love Gryz too, as a 3rd pair.. guess Forbort to top pair and Reilly w Carlo I hope
