Oh crap looks like the situation was about to be resolved, Stastny was about to sign, the Avs were skating away, then out of nowhere Morrow charged in and crosschecked somebody and our penalty was losing Paul.

No, that's not how the NHL works. We get to keep Paul, but have to hand over Pietrangelo and 5 1st round picks.

Only 13 more hours until tears or cheers. Personally I'm looking forward to a good cry and a hot bath.

I'm used to the tears after last years fiasco. Waiting on Petro and signing Roy. However, this team has legitimate options in Stastny, Spezza, Grabovski and even outsiders like Kadri or Stepan. Something is going to happen regarding the need for a center, and I have a hard time not believing it'll be either Spezza or Stastny.

I'm baffled why people think Kadri would help this team. Why is Toronto willing to part with him when they need a top 6 center, too?

This is hysterical What do we declare if he signs in Dallas or something? A tie?
