Nelson's year finishing the season is worse than Eakins last 25 games last season. Pass
Eakins did it with Scrivens making 40, 50 and even 60 saves a game, and with a superior lineup (Petry and Peron)
Nelson has the good players playing the best hockey of their careers, yet the team is still below .500. What does that tell? The rest of lineup is the problem.
It's all on the GM to field a complete and balance NHL roster. Mact has yet to achieve this basic requirement of the job.
