No points in the playoffs so maybe Swedish playoff hockey is different. :sarcasm:

He was 2nd line/PP2 (by minutes) on a mid table SHL team so he probably won't amount to much but he did have the best shot differentials on his team by a decent bit so maybe there is 4th line potential.

He also had two major penalties this season so I'm sure that got them excited.

His scoring profile is terrible. Why waste a contract on a 26 year old who hasn't sniffed a point per game season since he was a teenager in a junior Swedish league?

Seems completely unnecessary.

For the same reason they drafted Mann. Flahr has probably been belching enthusiastically to get this done for months.

I've been hoping for a guy who can score a bit in the ahl but play 4th line on a call up. He seems to fit the profile.
