This is classic Flyers.Don’t think he’s an automatic flip at the deadline. I think he’s still RFA. It’s going to be the same as Seeler, if too many teams want him they’ll decide he’s too valuable to themselves.
This is where we need Danny B to develop Hextall’s killer instinct for cashing in on marginal players. Hex got a third for each of Tye McGinn and Zac Ronaldo.Don’t think he’s an automatic flip at the deadline. I think he’s still RFA. Hextall was going to leave McGinn unqualified tooThis is where we need Danny B to develop Hextall’s killer instinct for cashing in on marginal players. Hex got a third for each of Tye McGinn and Zac Ronaldo.
I mean if you’re going to sign a 4th line PKer for John Tortorella…….better this than other options. No term (shoutout Deslauriers) and you can pretend there’s a smidgen of upside. I liked Poehling as a draft eligible, been a disappointment though.
I just want to add: will this genius crew ever consider Frost on the PK? You know, the high end CHL/AHL PKer?

Reminds me of the days of Richards and Gagne on the PK, felt like they were as dangerous as the PP every time they were out there. Almost forgot what that feels like. They should have a Farabee-Frost PK at some point... both the best PKers at every level below NHL they have played.
