I know Oettinger has been everyone’s sweetheart, but if Hart continues, I have to think he gets it. Unbelievable that he hasn’t lost in regulation yet.

I hope part of that is a function of being on the team letting up the third most shots against per game and it’s just a numbers game. We also have the second most blocked shots. Lots of action in our own end.

If Hart keeps playing the way he is forget the Vezina, he wins the Hart, Vezina, and likely Jennings. I'd love it to be sustainable but thats asking way too much from him.

Hart has never done this over the span of a full season and is somewhat prone to groin strains and other lingering injuries once he is getting too much of a workload. He will likely regress to the mean at some point.

He is phenomenal right now. Unfortunately, it happens in a meaningless transitional season.

I just remember last year they were scoring a ton of goals early and predictably they fell off. Appleyard may have the answer on how he was in each 10 game stretch or whatever. I just don’t remember him standing out.
