No it's not, Provorov made a blind drop pass to a left handed shot in a bad spot at the blue line. That's on him, couturier had to fumble it on his backhand.

He has been one of the better D men on the team until tonight. Would not judge a player off a single game. He's definitely not going to improve beating up on kids in juniors. He needs to learn at the NHL with no AHL option.
