It's Timmeh so take it for what it's worth, but there is maybe possibly a chance that Lyubimov will get in over someone; Timmeh says he took Cousins' shifts, but I'm not entirely sure he knows who Cousins is.

It's time to get Roman Lyubimov into a game.

I gues it's kinda a good thing and a bad thing, but I've pretty much forgotten Cousins exists for like 90% of the two games so far. He had one nice pass that lead to a goal and then he looks terrible on the PP, but other than that he's invisible unless you look for him specifically.

He's also bigger and stronger and faster than VDV. It's going to take an injury or Hextall stepping in to get him out.

Funny part is, we ***** and moan (deservedly) yet Hakstol got this team in the playoffs and we started off well early.

Quick correction - should note that Schenn only has one game remaining on suspension.

Also, I truly hate that they're promoting Read to the 3rd line. He's been an offensive black hole with the exception of the goal. I'll give credit where credit is due, and that was a spectacular goal, showing some flashes of his old self. But he's turned the puck over, struggled with his zone entries and his shot has been poor. Him missing that goal in overtime because he couldn't get the puck off the ice at all sums it up pretty well. He made the excuse that he was too close to the net to elevate the puck, but in watching the replay, that puck wasn't getting off of the ice regardless, and he put it right in Smith's pad. I think he's better than Vandevelde, but besides him, he's the worst guy we've got offensively.

Yup. One nice goal doesnt erase the last 100 games of his career.

Hakstol seems to have a short memory.

1 more solid game from Manning and he will be on our top pair
