How difficult is it to set a human being on fire?
Not that hard. The problem is keeping them on fire. Especially if you’re trying to get rid of a body. People underestimate how much fuel and heat you need to really get rid of everything. Then you end up with a body that looks like Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru from A New Hope and that doesn’t help anybody.

The funny thing is the Iowa Wild (Minnesota's AHL team) have been probably one of the worst AHL teams since they moved there from Houston in 2013. I think they've made the playoffs once.

Players like Mayhew are great at the AHL level (despite his lack of NHL talent) but Fletcher-era Minnesota in general is not exactly a farm system to be replicated.

At least he didn't trade Martin Jones. That would have been terrible if we had to have a different backup goalie down the stretch in the NHL because there might be an injury to one of our AHL goalies and we might have to play someone who isn't good. Would really be a shame if our last place NHL team and last place AHL had to use a goalie who was unable to steal a game for us down the stretch. Definitely more important than getting something in return for Martin Jones.

Sandstrom is only 25. You need to be at least 30 to be a Flyers backup. It's been that way since Bobrovsky left 10 years ago. They would have traded Jones if there was another 30+ backup to replace him for the rest of the season. What's Mike McKenna up to? Rob Zepp?

Neuvirth was 27 when Hextall signed him to the backup in 2015.
