I don't think that's a real concern, and if their intention was to fire Dubas, they certainly wouldn't let him handle the draft before ultimately letting him go.

If he was fired the day after the playoffs, the Leafs would just name an interim General Manger, likely Pridham or Wickenheiser, who would then just defer to the Head of Scouting which is pretty much what the General Mangers do anyway.

I don't think Dubas is going anywhere unless he wants to leave.

I hope Florida wins the cup this year-they've earned everything they've gotten so far. After this series Leafs fans were insisting they were the better team...even though they lost 4-1 and the Panthers beat the Bruins to get to the 2nd round. Yikes.

I've been enjoying both conference finals so far but it's just not the same as hate-watching Toronto or Edmonton. It lacks passion.
