you love to see it.
Lol I know only other one was Monahan, but his never looked like going in, just a sort of flutter blocker side
Bennett hasn't been a scorer during his NHL career. He doesn't have a plus shot or plus hands compared to those teammates.Dube and Ryan clutching up. Rittich is a breakaway god too
Spare thoughts:
-Dude wtf happened to Gaudreau's hands? New stick or what?
-Will never understand why some want Staal. Guy looks like an aging oaf who'd fall off a cliff here
-Lindholm like he's too in his head
-Man, how bad must Bennett's confidence be that he's not even scoring on breakaways in practice? Ryan, Mangi AND Dube all ahead of him in the shootout really shows how bad it's gotten
He used to have hands though. At least in his first two years. Never worked hard enough on his shot thoughBennett hasn't been a scorer during his NHL career. He doesn't have a plus shot or plus hands compared to those teammates.

He had some awkward-looking toe-drags, but that's about it.He used to have hands though. At least in his first two years. Never worked hard enough on his shot though
That's not the case and there's plenty of evidence on youtube to prove itHe had some awkward-looking toe-drags, but that's about it.
Bennett has been passed by all of Monahan, Gaudreau, Lindholm, Tkachuk, Backlund, Ryan, Mangiapane, Dube. Even with Frolik gone, it’s easy to not have him as a top-9 forward for us.
It's what I remember. As a rookie, he had that highlight reel goal against Pittsburgh where he toe-dragged Ian Cole, and his fourth goal against Florida involved a drag through his legs, but despite working, they always looked a bit awkward to me. Having good hands is less about pulling off moves as it is about being able to adjust extremely quickly as stick-blade positioning changes on both sides of the puck. Bennett doesn't read the play on a large- or small-scale very quickly, so to do anything with his hands he needs to plan it out in advance and have everything go according to that plan. That's not the case and there's plenty of evidence on youtube to prove it
