Lindholm has shown what you can expect from him, which is 30/30, but his faceoffs and defensive awareness makes him a 8M player I have been fine with his play

Well he's on pace for just for 20/50p, and is playing like absolute crap defensively yet you don't hear a peep about it.

It's weird the hate Huberdeau is getting in comparison to our "#1 center" in Lindholm who has all but mailed it in on this team.

It's quite clear he has one foot out of the door already. This is the worst hockey he has played since arriving here, and he has gone from being one of the game's better five on five players to a complete drain on his teammates this season.

Just in time to ruin his trade value. Perfect.

He's been bad too but this is Conroy's fault for not trading him earlier. He wanted out and only agreed to stay while they were negotiating a contract that would've significantly overpaid him. It's been clear for awhile that you shouldn't try to keep Lindholm. Idiotic decision making.

At the very least, not attempting to shop these players at the draft was just a major mistake. Keeping your team one foot in and out was never going to end well. What's the motivation to play for the team in that scenario? Now we have to trade these guys anyways but there will just be an added urgency to do so.

Agreed. Why he should've been traded or signed. Oh well, he's costing himself money too.
