Always fun with the all-time teams, I think Calgary might have one of the strongest in the league.

Anyways, big game tonight. I feel that a big win tonight would deflate the Wild big time, and could possibly knock them out of the running of the playoffs (they'd be 9 points back, that's a big hill to climb with a bunch of high quality teams in front of you).

The Wild team is ridiculously stacked on paper; I'm surprised their so bad. Time to continue this (also hope Brodie rocks Parise, if you remember that interaction a little back).

After tonight Vancouver will have 3 games in hand over the Flames. So a win is a must.

Well, not exactly. There are already two teams we can more easily beat out for a playoff spot (San Jose or LA). Passing Vancouver would be a nice bonus, but it's hardly a necessity.

I predict a classic Flames-Wild game where no one happy after watching the game. Nobody wins.

I have a bad feeling about this one too. But this isn't exactly the Minnesota Wild of old. They don't always play boring games.

Hopefully we can get an early goal. Force them to play loose.

Well, ****. If they're not gonna use Baertschi, T-spoon or wolf they should just send them down. Keeping them in the press box does nothing. Bring up some scrubs like McGrattan and Potter instead. Jesus.

Well, these players are getting paid like NHL players, and get to practice with the team as well. I would like to see them play too, but there is more to it than just sitting in the press box.

The popcorn at the Saddledome is much superior to what they eat down in Adirondack.

And yeah, AF and FFF both raise the point of giving them a salary bonus.

Yep, getting to practice with the team is also a big deal. It signals to those players that they are in the Flames plans, which for say Baertschi, is pretty important right now.

What if they are being dicks and only called them up to make them watch and make them think they have no future. :sarcasm:
