Really a pleasant surprise so far. Preaseason looked like we were in for a rough year watching him, but so far he’s very solid
Really, really good. I’m very surprised after hearing from all the offseason couch scouts.
In the pre-season he looked like absolute trash who would struggle as a bottom pairing AHL D. Since the regular season started, he's actually looked really good.

He's been a decent #6D. He has the benefit of being insulated by our top four, and his partner Valimaki does a lot of the puckmoving, so he can focus on just being a standard bigbody stay at home guy. I've also been pleasantly surprised by his ability to get pucks on net.
