Good game overall. Rittich solid again. Flames played well for the majority of the game. Maybe a little closer at the end than we like, but critical 2 points indeed! Must keep this going.

Ho-lee crap that was an ugly win. The Sens were terrible and the Flames still won by the skin of their teeth. Zero execution, but I'm glad they got the points.

Should of been over in the first; we were that dominant. Also no puck luck - condon makes a lucky face mask save on monohan in 2nd.

And Johnny needs a kick in the ass - under 10 mins left, two goal lead and he’s playing around with it at the blue line. Move it deep.

Stars just knocked off the Ducks. Chippy 3rd period. I can't believe the Ducks still get away with so many hooks, holds and dirty hits. Klingberg got stapled from behind by Richie right in front of the refs, and nothing was called. Face first into the boards. Basically a cross check to the numbers.
My Ducks hatred is still strong. Would love to see them miss the playoffs.

This would mean, or at least it would imply, that the Flames, or Stajan himself, don't believe that him being in the lineup is best for the team, and put him in every game anyway in spite of our playoff lives hanging in the balance. Even if that's even partially true, that's absolutely not the message that you want to be sending to the team and to the fans right now.

If they've kept him in the lineup all season, they have to stand by that as being the best thing for the team. It would be an embarrassing situation otherwise.

Eh not really. The team picked up Shore at the deadline. If they feel he’s the better player (he is), the Flames are justified to insert him whenever they want. The 4th line for most of this season has been brutal, they do not need any justification to make a change to anyone.

As far as letting Stajan play out his 1000th game. The Flames are a classy team and Stajan has earned that. It’s really not a big deal.
