Hoping Juuso has a good showing. That kid's got some grade A potential. This is a camp for him to show off a bit.
He'll be a deep runner in preseason I'm thinking.
Jankowski has committed to St. Lawrence University this fall, so this won't cost the Flames a penny as all NCAA players must pay their own way. So even if this is a favor to Mark, I see no harm (I know most comments have been in jest) and it might really help David develop as a player
Mind me asking what your point is?Valimaki had a great play-offs playing for Tri-Cities. He was the main driving force on a team that didn't have the star power of the Broncos or Everett. He was therefore out on the ice for almost everything. Don't know if there is much more he can learn in the Dub.
I wonder if big brother will be in thr stands watching lil brother?Jankowski has committed to St. Lawrence University this fall, so this won't cost the Flames a penny as all NCAA players must pay their own way. No idea if it sucks for the purposes of photos, but here's a site with an image of the interior.I wonder if big brother will be in thr stands watching lil brother?
Now back to an important question... Can anyone tell me what the lighting is like at the rink? I'm going to drop by and bring my camera but I won't bother if the lighting sucks like most non NHL rinks
Thanks. Saw your post and decided to see if I could find other interior photos of the arena on the web. Found this one. Lighting looks ok. Having that big bank of windows on the one side of the arena helps a lot. Will make sure I sit on that side with my back to the windows. No idea if it sucks for the purposes of photos, but here's a site with an image of the interior.

Hope to get some nice pics of the rookies.
Hmmm... that rink's definitely not as good for photography.
The main rink is olympic size, no?I never understood why they don't use the main rink, even just for the Scrims, cause those get quite the turnout.

Honestly, I played there quite a few times back in the day, but I don’t recall it being as big as Father David Bauer, for example, which I know is Olympic size. I’m sure I’ve just heard people say the main rink is, which would make sense since it’s Team Canada’s.D'oh... probably it.
Only time I've been near it was for a kids camp looking after kids so I wasn't paying that close of attention to the ice surface in the end.
Strong 200-foot game; very much a "one-for-all" contributor on the ice.How did Joly look?
