Did he say anything interesting?
I'm listening to it now but most of the early part was a bit of the history of his career, how he got started and his early failures in minor/junior leagues; talking about his Thrashers years and coaching the Avalanche to the Stanley Cup working with the likes of Sakic.
Around 17 minutes in, he was talking about the type of staff the Flames have acquired like Brad Pascall and Treliving, and promoted within the organization, such as Conroy and Gelinas and how every part of the coaching staff works just as hard because they are the type of men who always put in the work during their respective playing careers.
He has a lot of faith in this group. The advanced statistics aren't worrying him; he knows and trusts his coaching staff and they focus on every detail. He sounds like he has real faith in this group and would especially like to reward the fans with a playoff run ASAP.
Also, Kerr & Steinberg were complimenting Hartley on how they wished he would have worn it into the radio booth, and how good he looked in the fireman's helmet where Hartley cut them off with this gem : "Grats told me last night, I look awful."
