If tarasenko was on the Rangers, he wouldn't have 11 goals

annnnnddddd....... you dont know that.

not buying that argument. hes a talented goal scorer. if a guy like beev can have 9 then a guy like tank can have 11 easily playing more minutes than he does right now.

right now hes got 11 and thats 2 more than anyone on our team. fact. and see, to me, he would have more since we suck and he would play alot more minutes and in all situations unlike hes doing now with the blues.

if you knew anything about him or his minutes with the blues, you would know he doesnt get unlimited minutes and with the blues stacked at forward like they are, he doesnt see 1 pp unit time either. he actually has to fight for his playing time.

im sorry but a line of tarasenko, stepan and kreider would be a treat to watch.

Doubt he would producing as much against significantly tougher competition. The depth of St. Louis insulates him.

Wherever I'm standing atm
beever has 9

tank has 11

ok. you win

hate the counter arguements that you have been getting to this post. Gabs would never have 40 on this tea- oh...thats right he continued to perform up to his level when he came here just as Tarasenko would likely continue to perform at or near his level, just as crosby would continue at his level. The problem is not that we have no players capable of playing well it's that we have nowhere near enough of those players. Add to what we have now 1 good offensive defenseman and 1 decent offensive forward prospect like tarasenko and it's a completely different team. Championship team? No. But we'd be enjoying this season

Gaborik came here and scored 40 goals, okay.

Was it wrong to say before that, he would definitely not score 40? Yes. Was it wrong to say he definitely would? Yes.

It's pretty dumb to say one way or the other Tarasenko would or would not have X amount of goals if he was a Ranger with any certainty, because guess what? He's not a Ranger and probably never will be. How can you ever know?

Just because he has 11 in St. Louis, doesn't mean he would here, nor does it mean he would not.

Also, lol? Crosby is the best player in the world. Of course he would come here and play the same. Just because Crosby can do it doesn't mean everyone can. :help:

My point: Players will play up to the talent level that they have displayed their entire career

Your counter: Just because Crosby can do it doesn't mean every1 can.

Somewhere in your head there was a massive disconnect. This works for Brassard, Higgins, Lisin, Roszival, Tyutin, etc players who come in and players who leave. Dunno why you couldn't think of this without having it spelt out for you. We cannot predict whether or not Tarasenko would have exactly the same numbers but so what? For all those other players their production and play did not really change to a significant degree. His likely wouldn't either. :help:

My point: It's dumb to talk certainly about things that are impossible to know.

Your point: ur brain is broken players play the same everywhere their whole career, no one ever sucks on one team and thrives on another, or vice versa :speechles

How about current example Benoit Pouliot? He's playing way worse in NY right now than he has his last 3 teams. Kind of a problem with your theory there, huh?

Talented players find ways to score. Tarasenko is a scorer. Might not have 11 if he was here but he would have more then 5 for sure
