How the **** does Winnipeg have all these great players and still sucks every year? They need to blow up their team

They're built around wingers (Laine, Byfuglien, Wheeler, Ehleres, Connor).

Honestly their center depth, even with Schiefele doesn't impress me, and their defense core while not terrible (except for the fact that they play a winger Byfuglien on defense lmao) is not elite by any means.

But again, they're built around wingers.
We've seen that story ourselves here, when we built around Iginla, Tanguay, Cammalleri, Bourque, Jokinen etc. Even with Kiprusoff we accomplished nothing. Elite center depth (Bennett / Backlund / Jankowski / Monahan / Stajan / Lazar) is how we're built now for a reason.
