Hopefully we can rebound from our last game against Florida. Still haven't got an update on Freddy but my speculation is that if it is concussion protocol he will have to be symptom free for a week and we may not see him until the weekend. Hopefully that's not the case.

Matthews looking to break the Leafs rookie record with a goal.

Nylander looking to extend his Leafs rookie record with a point to make 12 straight games.

Freddy has been hot and the main reason the team has been as good as they are. If he is shut down until the weekend, I feel that might ruin his flow and suddenly he's not in form to close out the season.

It would hurt to lose Freddy for a week, but the bolded is a little oversensitive. We could finish out 4-4 and probably still be in, if not close. I expect us to do better than that. Gotta be optimistic.

Either he forgot to spring forward his clock or he's not cleared to practice.

IMO, if Andersen is out still this time next week the playoff dream is over.

The good thing about Babs is he uses his players..no matter if their coming from the press box..minors etc. (Leivo on PP, Goat PK etc) leaves hope for Kapanen having an opportunity offensively

Kapanen would be an amazing add right now. He's come back from injury a couple weeks ago, fresh legs, scoring at PPG pace in the AHL and he's got so much speed.

It's like a trade deadline acquisition..much better than Smith even if he's played for just 8-10 mins on fourth line.

What's with the comments? I think she just meant that it's a big day with Andersen coming out for practice after lots of people were worried as well as seeing our best prospect called up.
