Howe was a bit slow after 1990...

Shanahan - Fedorov - Yzerman

Lidström - Kostantinov

Vladdy has been eligible for the HHOF for a while and has not got in. I doubt he will. Most of the players listed here are in or virtual certainties to get in.

Howe was a bit slow after 1990...

Early 90s Howe wasn't any slower than mid/late 90s Murphy. Howe was still a solid defenseman and did well for the Wings. He looked very good with Lidstrom, also. IMO, he looked better than Murphy did.

I also debated Coffey. You can't NOT consider Coffey; especially if you are taking Fedorov. And you have to take Fedorov.

Still, if we're talking best line-up, he has to be in consideration. HOF be damned, due to circumstances.
