Larkin Scored his 30th.
Is this the first 30 Goal scorer since 2008 ?
The Mule scored 34 in 08-09. Still been a long ass time.
Hossa has 40 in 08-09.
Datsyuk tooI think we had 3 30 Goal scorers that year.
Hossa, Z and Mule
I think he would be there if not for his injury and missing a monthNever thought AA or Larkin would be pushing 30 goals this year. Thought it would be Mantha if anyone.
Neither do 100 point players it seems...30-goal scorers seems not to have any connection for winning Stanley cups. Or even having a playoff spot.

The other problem is the PP itself. That's where a lot of the elite players like Ovechkin get a lot of their goals. Need better coaching and personnel there especially if Vanek isn't re-signed (and no, I don't want him back). As suggested, the issue isn't the lack of 30 goal scorers (though it would sure help if we could locate a 40 goal sniper/power forward!), but the fact that outside our young forward, this team gets very few goals down the line-up. Nielsen & Glendenning with 10 goals as 6th & 7th in scoring just isn't good enough, especially as 5th is Vanek who basically can't skate at a good enough level to be effective outside of the PP these days.
Team will get deeper as we add Zadina, Veleno, Svechnikov, and maybe a top 5 pick this year.Seriously though, the team has Larkin, AA, Mantha, a little from Bert and then nothing else.
We went from four different thirty goal scorers in 2009 to zero in ten years lmao.
