Saw this in the Star today found it an interesting read on McClement's work ethic and what players might need to do to make the NHL.

I don't pay too much attention to the OHL so I was surprised to find out he was drafted 2nd overall in the OHL.

As someone who is not as big a hockey fan as most people on Hf, I just found it interesting.

I would like to get more informed but poor internet and lack of tv options where I work limits the hockey I can watch.

Last year at the trade deadline I suggested on numerous occasions to try and pluck him (or Winnik) away from the Avs.

Over the year there have been so many garbage articles. I think they have some quota of articles they have to write about every week...so they just spew anything they can.

Best writer in Toronto is probably Siegel and he's not even a journalist...just a beat reporter

I remember suggesting this as well, he's always been a respectable third liner who does what a third liner is supposed to do. It was an obvious signing and one of the few correct ones over the past several years that won't look horrid.

Exactly, as Leafs brought in PK specialist McClement to fix their ailing PK, and he has done exactly as designed.
