I'll back you on the "less annoying" part, but can't get behind the insightful. Maybe I'm jaded, but I still find myself calling him Captain Obvious during just about every telecast...

Per @JohnForslund a chance that the #Canes can see Tim Gleason back in the line-up. Joni Pitkanen still about a week away.

Forslund said on the radio yesterday that Pitkanen "must have had a relapse" and went from being the most likely to return to about a week away.

Ideally, I'd like to see one more game of Murphy, but a D of Faulk, Harrison, Murphy, Corvo, Sanguinetti, and Gragnani does not sound like it can slow down anyone.

I said insightful on a few occasions... I'm not trying to champion Tripp as a hockey yoda, just trying to give him a little props. I think he has improved a bit this season.

Wow. That might be the least solid group of NHL defensemen I've ever seen. If just a couple of those guys are off their game, it's quite conceivable that this group could go out there tonight and literally look like a minor league team.
