Well, lessee here - and mind you most of what I watched until my teens was syndicated programs, as I'd watch them in the afternoons (so we'll look at 1979 - 1987 or so here, prior to high school). Also not including cartoons (that list's too long anyway).
Little House on the Prairie
The Waltons
Welcome Back, Kotter
Newhart
Benson
Night Court
WKRP In Cincinnati
The Monkees
The Cosby Show
Batman (the Adam West/Burt Ward one)
M*A*S*H
Alf
Cheers
Three's Company
Alice
The Jeffersons
Who's the Boss
The Golden Girls
Empty Nest
Barney Miller
The Facts of Life
Happy Days
The Andy Griffith Show
The Odd Couple
Laverne & Shirley
Star Trek (TOS - occasionally)
All In the Family
Shows I used to watch with my father, NOT in syndication:
Grizzly Adams
The Dukes of Hazzard
The Incredible Hulk
Hart to Hart
The A-Team
Knight Rider
Simon and Simon (my dad didn't watch this, but I got to when visiting my mom)
Airwolf (which didn't really last long, to be honest)
Magnum P.I.
The Fall Guy
The Six Million Dollar Man
Buck Rogers
Shows I remember watching and liked at the time, but really don't recall much or, in some cases, don't think much of anymore:
Diff'rent Strokes
Sanford and Son
Taxi
Silver Spoons
Soap (really only saw a couple episodes, liked them, but wasn't syndicated much - the real appeal was that some of the characters and actors from Benson were in it)
There were probably more shows, but I'm not going to try to list everything I watched. I did watch Gilligan's Island, I Dream of Jeanie, Bewitched, The Brady Bunch, The Partridge Family, The Love Boat and The Munsters, but never really cared for them that much.
After I got my own TV post-1988:
Reasonable Doubts (watched for a season)
Kate and Allie (it got cancelled just after I started watching it)
L.A. Law (ditto)
Midnight Caller (ditto ditto)
Northern Exposure (didn't watch the final season, but saw all the rest)
well...I guess we're getting into the multitude of shows I watched in my teens which are too numerous to mention now, so we'll skip that.
Suffice it to say, I watched too much TV. But I was also an A student so I can confirm TV doesn't rot your brain.
