Also the series against ottawa for most part. I didn't have high expectations for this season. Overall they performed better than I expected. We had a good season.

Seriously guys, there are no great moments, if there are then we are becoming Leaf fans!!!! I have been a fan since 1978 and I have seen some great players, I remember when our 70s dynasty ended and the upstart Islanders and Oilers were taking over the league. I remember a rookie called Roy standing on his head in 86 in MSG and stealing us a cup and 93 as well. If you are a true fan of this great franchise you do not remember the regular season as meaning much more than securing our spot in the playoffs. The glory of this franchise was built on playoff success and not many of our banners and retired numbers are based on regular season pride, if it were that way,saku would have a retired number. I hope Bergevin and Therrien are the same type of fan that I am because if they are not then we are in serious trouble.

Line of the year involves porn logic and mashed potatoes.

Second best team in the league over the regular season = Mediocrity. So there are probably 29 mediocre teams in the league every year, right? Why do you even bother.

I'm not even mad at losing to Tampa. They're a good team and proving it right now. With a little luck that could be us.
