Buffalo back to their gold and blue. The Kings back in gold and royal purple. And if I could come up with a reason to switch Washington back to their old unis I'd throw that out there too.
As an added bonus Calgary, Chicago and Philadelphia couldn't wear their 3rd jerseys anymore, all of which are ugly anyway. Chicago should wear red, Philly should wear orange. Period.

Pittsburgh Pirates. I love to rub them in the faces of the so-called hockey fans who think the NHL began with the misnamed "original six" and also to show that Pittaburgh has a longer hockey tradition than most Canadian cities. At leaasy NHL wise

Yeah in Brett Hull's 'auto'-biography he said he tried many times, but could never hit the Queen.Benton Fraser said:I don't believe that actually, the reason being that Brett grew up in the same neighborhood as quite a few family members, and they all remember him being a little tubby to say the least when he was around that age. I guess the area would be around the north shore in the greater vancouver area.
Actually before they moved from Toronto they were in the same neighborhood as some greats like Kennedy. I am so envious of them for that fact alone.

Benton Fraser said:As Ogopogo stated the San Jose Sharks were awarded a fair number of the North Stars prospects (I don't think they got any NHL roster players out of the deal) but they were able to select some players as it was one of the owners of the North Stars that was the founder of the Sharks, or something to that effect.

Sorry, rub what in our faces?
Trottier, I actually remember Morris Mott. If I'm right, he played on the old Canadian National team, when the Europen 'amateurs' wouldn't play against NHL pros. The team was run by Father David Bauer. I believe Carl Brewer left the Leafs and played for them one year. I didn't know about the fan club. We did something similar in the early 70's. The Jr. Canadians had an extremely average defenseman named Raymond Bibeau, who we decided would become our hero. We'd chant his name and go nuts when he came on the ice. He was always looking up to the rafters of the Forum trying to figure out who and why, he was suddenly so popular.Trottier said:The Miami Screaming Eagles. Signed Bernie Parent, as I recall...and then folded before they ever played a game.
One of many nomadic and erstwhile WHA franchises.

Ogopogo - my memories of the Seals: They had an absolutely anonymous fringe winger named Morris Mott in the early 70s. For some off-beat reason, a band of fans in the Rangers cheapseats (the blueseats; they were cheap then, I suppose) took to fashioning the Morris Mott Fanclub. Had banners, the works made up for the one time each season that he and his Seals came to town. That lasted about 2-3 seasons, the length of his career.
Other memory: Seals had a goalie named Bob Champeaux (pronounced "shampoo"). Guess funny names linger in a youngster's mind.

The term original 6 applied to the 6 teams in place thru 1967-68 expansion and forward. No one claims them to be the original founding members.Pittsburgh Pirates.
