Draft will start Saturday, May 16th, 10 AM PST. Cap will be at $80 mil. Draft order will be determined by a random number generator. First few rounds will have a 6 hour time limit per pick
Right now, just gauging how much interest there would be for a complete fantasy draft. IC did an amazing job running the mock draft/offseason and everyone who participated had a ton of fun. Now that has ended, I thought this would be a fun way to kill the time.
Feel free to throw in any other ideas.
Overview and Rules
- Every player will be in play that's eligible to play in the NHL, including the 2015 draft.
- Consensus vote will determine if we use the players current contract, or ignore them.
- There will be two drafts, a player draft and a staff draft.
- Depending on how many people sign up, we can decide if we want to limit the player pool or not.
- Person with the most vCash will get to determine where they draft. The rest will be randomized (or the person that paypals me $50...)
- Team is first come first serve. Unless we get 30 people, any NHL team (past or present) can be picked.
Player Draft

- Trades are allowed
Staff Draft
- To keep it simple, only GM and coach are available.
- Staff draft will go in reverse order of the player draft.
I'll try to be as active as possible, but if anyone else wants to volunteer and run it or help run it that would be great.
