OT: Fantasia Film Festival - 2013 edition

This was in the first one...it was a really quiet/slow one, maybe the 3rd or 4th short. I think a motorcyclist hit a deer and then a mother and her daughter came up behind them in an SUV. Lots of piano music. Not scary at all (and not intended to be either).

I'm running out the door or else I'd look up the actual name/description for you.

These are V/H/S' stories:

-Freaky creature girl that kills 3 guys in a hotel;
-Couple's road trip in the West where the guy gets stabbed in the throat during his sleep;
-Serial killer creature in the woods killing teens;
-Doctor helping aliens experiment on chicks;
-Halloween party turning out to be some sort of poltergeist.

Of course...I'm getting my anthology-horrors-seen-at-Fantasia movies mixed up. The short I was talking about was from The Theatre Bizarre.

So yeah, there wasn't much at all I didn't like about V/H/S/ then!

Did you stick around for the Q&A? I had to zip out to catch another movie (Sweetwater - which I regretted) but I would like to have stayed. Seemed like a cool dude.

No, unfortunately I had to dash right after the movie. I agree that he seemed like a cool guy. I was happy to see that his beard was a little tamer than in the film!
