Like I said, this doesn't mean the season is over. This just means they're not meeting tomorrow as of yet. This could all be clockwork with the media and for all we know they're going to Secaucus, NJ to have a meeting in 8 hours.
"No new talks planned" were reported right after the last 3 meetings concluded...I would give this story a little bit of time to develop before investing in it.

I must've stopped listening a second before this was announced, was it right after the interview with Howard Berger? If so that could explain all the sudden phone calls he was getting during the interview.

Mabey a proposal was made tonight...now one side has to get think it over for a day or so? Things like this take time and thought. So mabey the players well think over this deal, likely decline it. Come back next week with some more talks.

The last time these groups met (as in couple months ago) they made it clear they didn't want to talk anymore and were angry. They've now met three times (maybe it's four). They obviously are finding some common ground, otherwise they'd all storm off. I think they are putting something together, and it might almost be finished.

think about it: it's Jan 27th...I guarentee they need a decision on the season by Jan 31st...there will be another meeting (as someone has already mentioned) by then then an accouncement
