Your 2011-2012 Philadelphia Flyers.

Sure, we have a detractor or two, but I feel this team will once again contend for Lord Stanley, with no visible weaknesses. And cap space! :D

Didn't get to resign anybody haha. So I've got a little bit of work here. First off Bruce Boudreau is gone. Who is still available out of Deboer, Muller and Crawford?

Also, Caps sign Ilya Bryzgalov to a single year deal worth 4.5 mil with a NMC.

Some things didn't work out the way we would have liked, including trades falling through, failing to acquire some FAs etc. But we feel his puts us in a great position for next year to make a splash.

We didn't land the #1 Center we sought, but we made some huge strides by bringing in two veteran wingers who have shown they can put up 50-60 points a year. We expect Alex Frolov and Michael Ryder will go a long way toward helping our young forwards like Taylor Hall, MSP, Sam Gagner and Jordan Eberle continue to develop as our stars of the future, by taking all the scoring pressure of them as they were our offense last season.

On the blue line we added Luca Sbisa. And we added even more depth to our outstanding prospect pool with the additions of Joe Colborne, Nick Bonino and Devante Smith-Pelley.

We also loved our draft:
Mark Scheifele
Alex Khokhlachev
JT Miller

We will be a much improved team over last year and with the continued development of our youngsters we expect to be back as a perennial playoff team within the next two years.

Beauchmin-Tanev

Vokoun

We're happy with the changes we made, we feel like rolling 3 scoring lines and one great defensive line will make us more dangerous as the past 3 years we've put out some poor 4th lines. We're currently looking to add a Top4 defenseman and have picks/prospects and Mikael Samuelsson to do so. Max Lapierre is also on the block.

Pleased with my work. Added Leino, Stoll, Clifford and Konopka to the forward ranks. Pitkanen, Bieksa and Sutton solidified my defense, and Conklin shores up the goaltending behind Miller. Added some nice young talent to the pipeline in Dougie Hamilton (draft), Derek Forbort (trade), Tyler Toffoli (trade), Arturs Kulda (trade) to compliment some of the more notables already in the system (Kassian, Adam, Brennan, Foligno, McNabb). I think I've done well setting this team up to be competitive in the future.
