Just curious, during the lockout when Kovy was playing, did SKA sell out their arena?

I just want to know my chances of getting a ticket to SKA home opener on 16 September.

They have like 99% attendance. With Kovy and without him.

Just interesting, why only 4 years? As far as I know Kovy likes lengthy contracts, till his pension. Was it restriction from SKA side?

Kovalchuk's sister said in an interview, that he plans 2 come back to the nhl after hes contract with ska is is ran out.

If I'm not mistaken he would either have to take a full year off of hockey or have the 30 NHL GM's agree to take him back to the NHL. He probably won't come back, but it would be good to have a player of his caliber back in the NHL. Still a ****** thing to do to the Devils.

You guys are all happy and that's good.. But I see this is a huge slap in the face towards the devils organization and the professional aspect of the game.

Devils could of easily stopped Ilya from doing so and "Tim Thomas'ed" him for eternity, but haven't heard a a peep from their side.

The way contract was voided, was just as professional, as the way it was structured in the first place.

I hate Kovie but a big name player like him will get some more crowd to the games. I think Jokerit - SKA in the future will get sold out quite easily.
