is his lack of assists troubling? or not even, with the assumption that a team in the NHL pairs him w a creative center
No he’s been a solid playmaker all year he’s just usually the one finishing the play.is his lack of assists troubling? or not even, with the assumption that a team in the NHL pairs him w a creative center
i also feel like he's gonna go top 6 this draft. he's making a crazy case for himselfNo he’s been a solid playmaker all year he’s just usually the one finishing the play.
3 helpers... Even if they gave one of his assists to Boldy.3 goals in first game, 3 goals already in his second game, with 2 helpers.
He doesn't play the game like those players, though. And that honestly is an extraordinarily stupid narrative. Players are individuals. You can cherry pick big players who struggle in the playoffs as well, and create a narrative off that.I think Caufield will go top 10.
It won't be to his benefit tho that smaller guys like Point and Gaudreau are struggling in playoffs otherwise if say he has a chance at top 6
I agree. Better skater and defensive player.Better than Debrincat don’t @ me

It depends on the style of play as well. Patrick Kane for example doesn't struggle in the playoffs. It's tougher for all players in the playoffs. Less time and space than the regular season overall. Makes it extra tough for smaller guys.
Yeah if he's still there for us at 8, I hope we take him.I don't see how Caufield, who is an elite scorer, makes it past both Buffalo and Edmonton, teams with young, elite centers in need of equally-talented wingers.
