Who knows how it would have turned out regardless, but you wonder if he regrets his decision to bolt on the NTDP for London. Not that the OHL / London aren't elite development paths, but it didn't work for him, although I imagine the character concerns highlighted by that decision would have been an issue regardless. Talent isn't everything, especially when it seems more geared for slick YouTube clips.

Not overly thrilled with this selection but at this point in the draft might as well take a shot. Hopefully he can figure out how to be at least more “team oriented” on the ice — but then again, the Stars need players with skill not more hard hat and the hammer type players.

Debuted in the AHL with Texas and had an assist. I think it's good he is getting this experience early as he is one of those players with question marks if his game will translate to the pros. This should help him realize what he needs to iron out

Looking at Ep most viewed players all time. Can someone explain how this guy has almost 800 thousand views? His chances of having an NHL career are quite minimal

Family or friends or someone random probably ran a bot that boosted the views.

Really nice for a guy like him to get some AHL games in this past season. Good for the team too to get a chance to work with him too

Hope he can take some big strides this season

What ever happened to this guy?
Or was he never that good to begin with.

Was a sure 1st round pick at some point, relatively high.
Kept falling and falling, did got drafted thou, 123rd, by the Stars.

Nowadays, an average OHL:er. Is a 0.56 ppg career player in the OHL (130+ games)
has yet to score a goal this season for London, has just 3 assists in 5 games.

He is just coming back from injury after missing the entire pre-season for London - After missing almost all of last year because of the pandemic.

Too early to be concerned. one 4 point game
and boom, PPG.

10pts in 8 games now. Is that good enough for you?

Guy was never an “average” OHLer

That one post be looking funny, like I said in the Klingberg thread on the main boards.. don't look at a tiny sample size at the start of a season and try to draw up some weird conclusions it makes you look weird.
