You seem kinda obsessed with Crosby

35-40 goals and 95-100 points for Crosby if he stays healthy. He could win the Art Ross, I think McDavid will be producing around the same.

If he plays all 82, i'll say 94'ish pts or so.
AR contention if he hits a hot streak in terms of PPG.
Last season, he only really hit a goal scoring streak and that won him the Rocket.

He'll have to remain healthy to have a shot at the Art Ross. And I mean basically play all 82 games, because I think McDavid's too good to give a lead of an extra 2 or 3 games to.

One thing that will be interesting to see is how Sid does without having Kunitz drag down his totals. I believe he played roughly a 12 game stretch with Kunitz, and only produced like 5 ES points (maybe another 2 or 3 on the PP) during that stretch. Take out that stretch and he's up to 80 points in only 63 games, or 104 point pace.

So while the 7 games he missed probably took him out of contention, being saddled with Kunitz for roughly 12 games basically destroyed his 100 point pace.

I think he scores around 95 points but he will ultimately fall short of Art Ross to McDavid. His point production might take a big hit if they move Guentzel to 3C.

The first player to win 3 straight Conn Smythes, and he'll still be called overrated on HF.

I don't see him regressing from last year. The kid trains too hard imo.

A full season with no 14 will net him another 15-20 points easily.

Not sure what to expect but I want this to be a HUGE year for him. Really want him to blow the competition away and sweep every single award.

I'll be the pessimist. He'll get injuried within the first 10 games, sit out 30-40 games, and come back for the last half. He'll have low totals, but high points per game. Crosby fanboys will point to his high ppg as another great season. Everyone else will point to his low totals and injuries as another failed season. The divide in ranking him will continue to grow.

If he doesn't get injured he'll take games off for "maintenance". 2 Cup runs and the World Cup makes for a lot of hockey. He'll be at or near the top of the scoring lead but I don't think anyone will hit 100 points. McDavid barely hit it in his 82nd game of perfect health against a soft, soft division.

Never makes pre-season predictions for individual players, but what the heck.

Predicting fewer goals but a ton of assists, like 70+. Thinking Sully will stack the top lines with the bottom six stinking. Guentzel and Rust will make things work with Sid, I believe.

95 points and loses Art Ross to McDavid. Everyone crowns McDavid best player and Oilers get bounced in 1st round while Crosby leads the Pens to a 3peat

Around 90 points again. I wish Malkin gets to stay healthy and challenge for some hardware but doubt it.

Given McDavid's emergence I really expect that to push Sidney to get even better in the off-season. I think you'll really see him push his game to that next level that we've seen him get to at times in his career.

If Crosby wants it he'll go out and get it. I don't know if he is actually pushing himself to do that. The only thing that slows him down is injuries to himself or his teammates throwing everything out of whack.

Healthy and if he really wants it he'll do his normal Sid thing. 100+.

I don't care how many points, as long as he has more than McDavid to shut the ******* up on the main board, that's all that matters to me. Just be healthy, him, Guentz, and Shears, be healthy, help Sid slay.

He could win the Rocket, Ross, Smythe, Lindsay, Hart, Selke and 3 peat and Oiler fans would still say McDavid is better. Even McDavid has said Crosby is the best and it doesnt matter.

That said my expectation for him is 100 points over 82 games. I dont expect him to play all 82 and hope he will be rested at the end of the year so low to mid 90s is what I expect he will finish at.
