There are many people who feel he will force management to keep him up in the NHL, and if that's true, it's hard to see how he could avoid getting at least 35 points with his skill.

Truth is, it's anyone's guess. We've only really had one pro game (and no pre-season or training camps) in which to evaluate him. Any time we see him at dev camps he scores about 2 ppg and is the best player on the ice. His one pro game he scored one goal.

Realistically, it's hard to set expectations until we see some form of resistance against him, so we can have some idea of what could possibly stop him from scoring on opposing teams.

If you saw McTavish's interview with Duthie at the draft, it's pretty clear that that sort of learning isn't in the cards.
