Too bad list didn't include former Bruins prospects. It would clearly be Cody Payne.

I'd go for Kobasew, he's cheap and I liked him while he was on the Bruins and Dobby for the same reason plus the potential he still has.

    My lineup:

    Lucic-Krejci-Iginla
    Marchand-Bergeron-Eriksson
    Sobotka-Kelly-Versteeg
    Paille-Campbell-Kobasew

    Chara-Boychuk
    Seidenberg-Hamilton
    Ference-McQuaid

    Rask
    Khudobin

Tried to make it as realistic as possible salary and role wise, obviously not putting Kessel on the 4th line. Versteeg is more of a 2nd line but whatever. Replace him with 2011-12 Peverley if you wish.

Just so we're clear, Kirk has laid it out before that Khudobin was never, ever gonna re-sign in Boston for $800K, him and his agent took a chance on Ward's groin to get some playing time. Would have taken a lot more money to get him to sit behind Rask.

Sobotka and Versteeg are the names that stick out because they were practically given away but Versteeg probably would have been moved for salary reasons by now.

I'm surprised you included Anderson. lol

I had to look up his relation to Boston because at first I thought it was an error.

Khudobin and that is it because of the salary cap. Of course I would take a Wheeler-Thornton-Kessel 4th line but that just isn't realistic.

Still wish we had Stuart over McQuaid, especially with how bad McQuaid has largely been the past two seasons (last year was excused, but this year?)

    Sobotka
Eaves never was really a Bruin right? Bought out immediately or something if I recall. Ference
    Ryder
    Orr
    Khudobin
