Will we get more than 2 PPs in another game this series?

I don't even think they're being neutralized persay.

High danger chances for that line last night were 10-1 for the Oilers. I think it's less then being subpar and more Korpi doing his thing.
They will be neutralized in LA with kings having last change

Some of the crosschecks Ryan took to the lower and upper back in the 1st/2nd… ouch. Didn’t slow him down much if at all though like you said
He took what looked like a pretty punishing hit in the corner one time and just bounced right back up, he’s definitely learned as a small player how to protect himself pretty well.

Just overall a guy who’s really worked on all aspects of his craft. Definition of a long shot who put the work in and carved out a good career as a low key effective player.

Korpisalo is their MVP so far without a doubt. Shrewd trade.

Hopefully it evens up on PP's. There's no way LA has only taken 3 penalties in 2 games. I'm apprehensive, and the conspiracist/observer in me thinks LA gets the calls at home. We have to play super even-keeled.
I wanted to trade for Korpisalo not only because Campbell has been bad but to keep him away from LA. We’re still the better team but the reffing is making the games closer then they should be.

DR is such a beauty. Guy is just such a smart player, he works his hardest every shift and he’s not afraid to go to the hard areas and he takes some punishment for it and just keeps going.
I give Woodcroft a ton of credit when he came in and shifted Ryan to RW. Guy was signed to be that narrow focus 4th line right centre specialist to take important own zone draws. Woodcroft saw the high processing ability, work rate and grit and shifted Ryan to wing. It has prolonged Ryan's career and given this team a valuable bottom roster player with versatility.

Ryan's thrived with more opportunity at wing while still able to slip into pivot for some face-offs and add to this team's competitive advantage of skill guys who can move between centre and wing, along with up and down the line up.

I guess only a shutout is acceptable from a rookie goalie in the playoffs for every game.

The embellishment by Doughty was as bad as it gets.
I’m not saying it was “unacceptable” just saying he hasn’t been great. Rookie or not we will need better goaltending moving forward in the playoffs. He can been better.

Get a new avatar. I suggest a picture of a cat or a picture of PMJT.

I'm a pretty vocal oilers fan on this site. And it will be tougher to get mcdavid the match ups that favor him.
well, he won’t do worse in gsme 3,4 than he did in games 1,2.

I hate to break it to you but the reality is that it doesnt matter who the Kings throw over the boards.

The other reality...Draisaitl and McDavid still have the Kings coaching staff very concerned.
They have to hope that Kropisalo continues to stand on his head. If he doesnt the series wont be going back to LA a second time.

I said I think he wanted to challenge. As you pointed out. Wasn’t really the opportunity to. It would have been overturned like you mentioned. So much going on in that play. Was a nutty one.
What I meant was i don't think he could have challenged. I could be mistaken.

Mcdavid is better on the road. I don't think matchups will be an issue except when Kulak and Vinny are out. That pair scares the shit out of me. Kulak has been bad this year and Vinny is slow.
