Not sure how much we can expect out of him but he'd make our bullpen unstoppable.

Based on that I would fully believe he'll be starting by mid-September

Rehab assignment that early eh, nice. That changes everything with regards to his timeline.

I was thinking if all of this wasn't started until September we'd likely only see him in the pen.
